Building Compound: From One Article to Ten Files

A content workflow I created at Fractalic Studio to get more use out of an existing article.

My role: Product concept and workflow design.
Studio: Fractalic Studio.

The problem I wanted to solve

An article contains ideas that can be useful in several formats. Turning it into video, visuals and platform-specific content involves a sequence of tasks.

I built Compound to connect those tasks into a workflow. One article becomes a package of 10 files.

Source article → Content workflow → 10 files

Start with one article

The source article is the starting point. The examples below show how its ideas appear in different formats.

Don’t publish. Compound.

“You have already done the hard part. Someone on your team researched a subject, argued about it, and wrote it down properly.”

Demonstration using Fractalic Studio’s own product page as the source. This is a studio example, rather than an independent client project.

My contribution

I designed the workflow that connects the tools and carries the source material through the sequence. That workflow is the core of Compound.
