Vahagn Ter-Sarkisyan

Hey There!
Thanks for stopping by!

About me
I'm the kind of founder-turned-builder who gets restless whenever bright ideas stay stuck on whiteboards. Over the past 15 years I’ve launched three companies (two exits), steered enterprise partnerships across three continents, and helped deep-tech teams turn raw innovation into pipelines, profit, and products people actually use.
Roots, Wings, and Dreams
1987
Yerevan
Born in the vibrant heart of Yerevan, Armenia, in 1987, I came into a world swirling with the chaos of a crumbling USSR. Those early years, unimaginable to many in the West today, forged a resilience and spirit in me that remain unshakable—my foundation for a life of bold dreams and fearless pursuits.
1994
Moscow
My journey took a pivotal turn when I was just a child, landing in the bustling capital of Russia, Moscow, for my second chapter. There, I wove my story through the halls of School 351 and later the storied History Faculty of Moscow State University. Moscow wasn’t just a city—it was where I cut my professional teeth, discovered my passions, and found the love of my life. Those decades shaped me, filled with lessons, laughter, and love.
2022
Los Angeles
Then, in 2022, I leapt into my third and most thrilling act: a bold relocation to the United States, a dream sparked in 1999 when I devoured every page of a GEO magazine dedicated to New York City. That moment was a total crush—an electric jolt of inspiration that lit up my imagination with the city’s towering skyline, vibrant energy, and endless possibilities. Settling here, I welcomed my first child—a moment that redefined joy—and embraced a new world where ambition meets opportunity. The future? It’s a dazzling horizon, and I’m ready to write the next chapter with the same fire and heart that brought me to this land of dreams.
My Professional Path
The Early Spark
I wrote my first business plan in Moscow’s dorm rooms and turned it into iLine, a scrappy event-services startup that broke new ground by running one of Russia’s first Groupon campaigns. One 24-hour flash deal booked an entire month of revenue and proved a simple truth: attention is leverage. After scaling iLine to profitability, I sold my stake to my co-founder and went hunting for bigger canvases.
Corporate Tour de Force
Sitronics
At telecom heavyweight Sitronics I learned how Tier-1 billing really works—and how to translate that complexity into market excitement. My “Ariadne’s Thread” concept projected live navigation onto car windshields years before HUDs were mainstream.

Softline
Softline handed me two missions. First, I wrangled hardware alliances with Dell, HP, and IBM, unlocking $250 K in net-new income through co-marketing plans. Then I jumped to the Cloud-CRM unit and wrote the business case that brought Salesforce.com to Russia, tripling qualified pipeline in 90 days.

S&T
Deep inside the finance sector, I packaged “Operational Excellence” platforms for top banks, aligning product, sales, and delivery so tightly that we cut complex deal cycles by two weeks and positioned S&T as the risk-analytics partner of choice.
Founder Mode, Again
Avtelcom → SeenLabs
Avtelcom asked me to reinvent a legacy telecom stack; I answered by weaving in Russia’s first VR/AR and digital-signage offerings. Hours spent on global expo floors birthed SeenLabs—a California-based digital-integration studio that fuses proprietary signage software, AI video analytics, and custom hardware. We keep churn under 1 % while lighting up immersive screens for brands in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Vachark
Startup number three: Vachark, a revenue-acceleration shop I grew from a blank slide to a remote engine delivering up to 100 live conversations a day and 45–60 completed meetings per client every month. I exited after securing long-term stability, and the company continues to scale under my former partners.

Tapestry of Wanderlust

Dive into the map below to trace the paths I’ve traveled and the stories I’ve collected—each pin a chapter in my ever-growing journey.
My journey across the globe has been a kaleidoscope of cultures, landscapes, and revelations. In Europe, I wandered through a dozen enchanting Italian cities, each steeped in history and charm. The Middle East opened my eyes to new depths, where I earned my Open Water Diver certification and later advanced to AOWD, diving into the wonders beneath the waves. In Southeast Asia, I found nirvana, learning how tradition dances with the pulse of modern life, and caught a fleeting sense of zen on Indonesia’s Gili Islands.
The Côte d’Azur dazzled me with its breathtaking beauty, while I touched the heavens near Mont Blanc and conquered the tides at Mont Saint Michel. Across the U.S., I carved a path from north to south, coast to coast, from Florida’s sun-soaked shores to California’s golden dreams. Yet, even with all these adventures, I feel I’ve only scratched the surface of what this world—especially the U.S.—has to offer. The pull to revisit these places is strong, but the vastness of our planet’s wonders reminds me: my journey is just beginning.
